Yeah, I've heard that's something of an underrated gem.

I bet you still snuck it in code. Like, if I take every third word and translate it into Aramaic and then back into English or something, I don't know, I obviously haven't thought about this for any length of time whatsoever.

I think it'd be more impressive if you made a post about wine that referenced the spectacle

It has since been done.

"But a period which, for example, finds it profitable to fake by chemical means various famous wines, can only sell them if it has created wine experts able to con connoisseurs into admiring their new, more recognizable flavors.[7] Cervantes remarks that "under a poor cloak you often find a good drinker."[8] Someone who knows his wine may often understand nothing about the rules of the nuclear industry, but spectacular domination calculates that if one expert can make a fool of him with nuclear industry, another can easily do the same with wine." Guy Debord, Comments on the Society of the Spectacle

I always prefered the Day of the Dead. Romero made three more zombie movies after that, starting with Land of the Dead which wasn't that great. He did two connected movies after that called Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead, which I thought were decent enough.

I just watched The Toxic Avenger a couple of hours ago. It fucking sucks! It´s the most overrated cult film ever (oh, well, one of them anyway).

The Toxic Avenger is possibly one of the greatest films ever made.

I like the film HURLEMENTS EN FAVEUR DE SADE. It has a very climactic ending sequence.

I don't know why I keep watching Jean Luc Godard movies when I've disliked all of them. I saw Band of Outsiders a few nights ago and I didn't like it.

Try some of his Dziga Vertov work (Weekend to Tout va Bien, 67-72). Most of the technique and commentary is ripped off from Debord and the SI when it's half decent, otherwise generally falling into standard trends of pseudo-Maoism predominant in the new left at the time, but it's somewhat more amusing to go through than his earlier ****.

I'd say it's more recuperative of revolutionary cinema than anything else, yes, but there is more to go through in the films of his Maoist phase. (Godard actually considered Breathless fascist in the Vertov period, going so far as to basically use Tout va Bien as a more or less 'revolutionary' re-write of it).

By any measure, art is dead and Godard can't change that, as a clever piece of graffiti written in or around 1968 put it.
